Hi everyone, and welcome!
On behalf of Nexecon Consulting Group, thank you for taking the time to learn more about our organization and community at the University of Michigan. Nexecon is an undergraduate consulting club with professional opportunities for student members to work with actual companies. But beyond that, we are a passionate community of student leaders committed to our organization, our work, and our collective growth. And most of all, we are a tight-knit group of nearly 60 members who have collectively found our Michigan family in each other.
Looking back two years, as a freshman I remember attending information sessions for half a dozen consulting clubs that at some point all blended together. But within the confusing business jargon and case workshops, I remember conversations with Nexecon members and absolutely loving what I heard from them. Members who had recently joined and seniors alike all shared stories of bonding events, interesting projects, and how Nexecon shaped their Michigan experience. Now that I’ve lived that experience, I’ll say the same to you. Nexecon has provided me with some of my closest friends and core memories that I hope to take with me once I graduate next year.
I would also like to highlight Nexecon’s history that you can be a part of. Nexecon was founded in 2008 and since then, the club has grown into the premier consulting organization on campus. We now service clients of every size, industry, and sector, and for the last 13 years have worked with local non-profits, Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and small businesses from all across the globe. We seek to offer a broad range of experiences to every member. Our mission as an organization remains as clear as ever: to equip every one of our members with the skills and instruction they need to achieve their career goals while cultivating a supportive and inclusive community.

"My experience in Nexecon has been more than just engagements with clients, which have varied from a Fortune 500 automaker, women's athleisure retailer, and an Ann Arbor spa and fitness provider. It has also included an amazing career excursion to Chicago, where we visted firms like McKinsey & Company, the Boston Consulting Group, and Bain & Company. Nexecon has also provided me with a diverse community of peers and is where I have found some of my closest friends"
"Nexecon has provided me far more than a tangible, challenging, yet encouraging environment to acquire a variety of business skills. From an approachable E-Board and incredible client projects, to mentoring project managerss and awesome analyst peers, it's the people who make Nexecon great. Nexecon is more than a consulting group: to me its been a personable - yet professional - community to grow, learn, connect, and help solve some of the world's toughest business problems."
"Joining as a sophomore, Nexecon seemed like an incredible opportunity to gain real world experience in an industry I found interesting. While that has remained true, it is all the other skills originally overlooked that have led to many of my successes. The ability to forge relationships with clients and deliver months worth of analysis in a matter of minutes are skills I now recognize the importance of. Nexecon has been an organization where I find four or five students each semester that I first learn from every day, then begin to rely on and soon enough consider them my friends."
